Project file includes Phoenix FD smoke simulation setup, Vray rendering setup & lighting setup. Just run the simulation. Compatible with: 3Ds Max 2016 and newer. Phoenix FD 3.0 and newer. Be aware: Newer versions of Phoenix FD may produce slightly different results from the preview shown.

This Phoenix FD for 3Ds Max VFX tutorial covers several technique of creating a logo out of smoke, and using the body force helper to morph the letters out of smoke that is attracted to them. This is a very simple tutorial definitely suitable for beginners in Phoenix. I also go over mixing different colors of smoke together using the RGB output & using the turbulence helper to make the smoke wobble and give it more variation.
