Orange model is NOT included (for legal reasons). After you open the scene, replace the placeholder hemisphere with your own 3D model (does not have to be fruit – I have used this exact setup for a waterproof watch commercial). Includes Phoenix FD liquid simulation setup. Vray rendering setup, lighting setup & a placeholder sphere at the correct size (just import & replace with your own model). Be sure to watch the tutorial if you’re unfamiliar with Phoenix FD. Created in 3Ds Max 2016, Vray 3.6 & Phoenix FD 3.12 Compatible with: 3Ds Max 2016 and newer. Phoenix FD 3.0 and newer. Be aware: Newer versions of Phoenix FD may produce slightly different results from the preview shown.

In this new VFX tutorial I’ll be showing you how to create a dynamic water splash effect using Phoenix FD in 3Ds Max. This is a beginner tutorial with a simple liquid emitter setup that you can follow with no prior Phoenix FD experience. If you’re enjoying the content, please let me know in the comments on youtube.
