In this visual effects tutorial for 3Ds Max, I’ll show you how to setup an RGB mixing smoke FX simulation and modify various settings such as buoyancy, vorticity, and opacity to achieve an ‘ink in water’ look. The final result was rendered with Vray 5.1 and color corrected in After Effects.
