This Phoenix FD for 3Ds Max VFX tutorial covers the workflow of running a wavelet turbulence re-simulation on top of our base sim to add an insane amount of extra detail in the fire and smoke. This is a great way get detailed explosion plumes where the fire mixes together with the smoke for some beautiful results. I also walk you through setting up the explosion as shown in the thumbnail from start to finish.
