Project file includes Phoenix FD smoke simulation setup, Vray rendering setup & lighting setup. Just run the simulation. Does not include the McLaren model. Compatible with: 3Ds Max 2016 and newer. Phoenix FD 3.0 and newer. Be aware: Newer versions of Phoenix FD may produce slightly different results from the preview shown.
This Phoenix FD for 3Ds Max VFX tutorial covers using the motion velocity parameter to make a smoke simulation spin around the car wheel for a burnout effect. I also go over using the adaptive grid to make the simulation area expand automatically based on where the smoke is moving.
