Create Cinematic Automotive VFX in Unreal Engine
Watch the Launch Trailer for Niagara Automotive:
Automotive visualization in Unreal is growing fast, and the market is being flooded with car renders that all look clean, but forgettable.
Niagara Automotive helps you stand out by adding cinematic VFX that will make your shots feel more dynamic and premium by adding the missing element of interaction between the cars and their environment.
Learn how to create snow, dust, debris, energy effects, airflow simulations, fire, and particle reveals, in real-time using Niagara and entirely inside Unreal.
The course covers the full process. We build the environment, animate the cars, add VFX and progress toward finished cinematic shots.

Real-time VFX isn’t just for games. The workflows you’ll learn inside the course are used in:
Most people assume you must rely on other external tools for simulations & particles.
But the truth is: Unreal Engine’s built-in systems are far more powerful than most artists realize.
Niagara Fluids, Chaos, and Motion Design Tools can produce cinematic, real-time FX without leaving Unreal. No VDB imports, no Alembic troubleshooting, no Houdini. You just need the right workflow and guidance.
No other comprehensive training brings all of these tools together in one place… until now.
Everything you need to create cinematic automotive shots from scratch
Jump straight into creating. Just open the included Unreal project and start animating. You’ll get a high-poly, cinematic-ready car model with full interior & engine detail, built exclusively for this course. Ready for use on both personal and commercial projects.
Learn the right workflows from day one so you can create clean, cinematic FX without wasting weeks troubleshooting. Instead of piecing together disconnected tutorials, you get a complete beginner-to-advanced path with built-in continuity and portfolio-ready examples.

Yes. This course is made with absolute beginners in mind. The first chapter of the course will get you up to speed even if you’ve never made any VFX before.
There are no Blueprints and no coding in this course.
Absolutely. The courses gradually introduce more advanced concepts and there’s a lot to learn for all skill levels. The bonus “Beyond the Basics” chapters include advanced setups.
Inside Niagara Automotive, for shots involving suspension, I’m using the ‘Cinematic Car Rig‘ Plugin (available on Fab).
I have found this plugin to be the easiest, most beginner-friendly way to get suspension for cinematics, without a complex blueprint setup.
This plugin is optional and not required to complete the course.
If you want to recreate the exact suspension behavior shown in some of the shots, you will need the plugin.
I cover the entire car setup process & Niagara interaction inside the course.
You can follow all of the Niagara courses in version 5.7 without issues.
For Unreal Motion, the way motion design effectors behave is different in 5.7 vs 5.6, so I recommend you follow in 5.6 until I re-record those lessons in 5.8.
Yes. This skillset is not limited to Automotive cinematics. Whichever industry you’re in, you can enhance your Unreal Engine projects with VFX.
You’ll immediately receive access to your course dashboard, where all your courses are organized in one place. You can start watching the lessons right away, at your own pace, on any device.
This is exactly what it looks like for Megabundle Pro students:
Yes. You get lifetime access, meaning one single purchase gives you ongoing access to all course content, updates, and future improvements.
Yes. This is a simple one-time payment.
Payment plans are not available, and here’s why:
I want this to be as straightforward and stress-free as possible for you. No recurring charges, no future payments. You pay once and you get instant & lifetime access to everything.
I recommend a 2070 RTX as a minimum to run the sims in real-time. I will show you how to cache the sims, reduce resolution, and use other tricks to make them run faster even on a lower-end PC.
A collection of 40 project files to my most popular effects from each of the 7 courses is included only inside Megabundle Pro.
Yes. Subtitles are now available for all courses in English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, and French.
It’s very possible that your place of employment will cover our courses as an educational expense. It sure doesn’t hurt to ask.
Yes. Please email jesse@redefinefx.com with number of seats you need.
No. We will not be optimizing the VFX in any way to improve their performance in real games. Our goal is simply to make the effects look as good as possible.
